Image Acquisition

Imagine can acquire images from multiple DICOM and legacy non-DICOM euqipment. It is compatible with all digital and analog equipment from all major vendors. Images are acquired in real time with a footswitch interface or manually in an offline mode.

Acquisition formats
•  Acquisition is done in 512 x 512, 8-bit format as well as in 1024 x 1024, 8 10 12 and 14-bit formats per DICOM3 standards
•  Still images acquired in DICOM Secondary Capture (SC) format
•  Images from non-DICOM equipment are acquired via composite video output and converted to DICOM format

Images from Echo carts
•  Acquired via a standard DICOM output
•  Images from non- DICOM Echo carts acquired via composite video output and converted to DICOM

Images from CT & MRI Modalities
•  Acquired via standard DICOM gateway
•  Images from non- DICOM Echo carts acquired via composite video output and converted to DICOM

DSA runs
•  Can acquire processed and unprocessed DSA runs along with vendor-specific private tags from several modalities
•  DSA runs can then be reviewed as well as exported on DICOM3 CD

Ethernet support
•  Offers support for a mix of 10/100 Mbps and Gigabit Ethernet for scalable network performance

Image enhancements
•  Quality of images can be enhanced during acquisition through brightness, contrast and edge gain controls
•  Acquisition matrix can be adjusted to capture the maximum region of interest
