The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson is the health sciences campus of the University of Mississippi. It houses Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Health Related Professions, Dentistry and Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences; the University Hospitals and Clinics; and the Rowland Medical Library.
Challenge
Hospital has a ‘i-Site’ as Radiology PACS and was looking for a Departmental PACS with Enterprise Cardiac DICOM viewer.
Solution
SoftLink has provided the Hospital with “HCPDICOM Net – Cardiac Imaging Network” to connect to 4 Cathlabs. The Solution included 4 Enterprise Cardiac DICOM Workstation, one for each Cathlab. In addition to the Enterprise Viewers, the Solution provided 10 Concurrent Webviewers for distributing the Cathlab Patient Images across the Network. Hospital wanted to continue with the ‘i-Site’ storage, thus HCPDICOM Net pushes a copy of Patient Images to the ‘i-site’ storage for long term Archive.
